Resonato is a consultancy service that assists senior managers, predominantly from chemical manufacturing sites, to handle and enhance their company’s reputation with its stakeholders.  It is ultimately the reputation that an organisation holds with its many stakeholders that determines the effectiveness and sustainability of its business.  From an audit of how the performance of the company is perceived by its own employees, its neighbours, its regulators, its shareholders, and its commercial partners, a Reputation Management programme can be developed.  This will communicate resonating messages that deal with an increasing need to insure Sustainable Development through stakeholder engagement in the business.

Resonato works with the Company’s senior management team to develop a cohesive programme of key stakeholder interactions designed to address the specific reputation needs of the location. The focus is on “participative democracy” where all relevant stakeholders work together on issues designed to enhance reputation. Working through in-house personnel, and including all relevant stakeholders, the approach means that delivery is particularly focused, inclusive, and cost effective. Those promoting the reputation of the company have true ownership of the programme.  Where necessary, appropriate training is designed and delivered to enhance the implementation of the programme.  The approach is particularly designed to assist SMEs in the science-based industry sector.

The Principal Consultant brings over 30 years of active experience in the chemicals industry and academe from R&D Chemist, Commercial Management, through to Company Director and Chief Executive, with extensive involvement in stakeholder communications at local, national and international levels. Employment by a range of SMEs in the chemicals sector, and active participation at national level through professional bodies and trade associations, has exposed the Principal Consultant widely to the issues of operating in a small company environment at senior levels. The experiences as a strategic thinker, leader, motivator, innovator, promoter of hands-on involvement in business operations, with excellent communication skills at all levels, and a prolific networker are brought into this consultancy service and are offered to complement and develop the inherent skills of senior staff in client companies. The reputation work of the Principal Consultant has been recognised by the short-listing and winning of Chemical Industries Association awards for leading Reputation Management programmes. These were achieved from the position as CEO of an SME.
