EXPERIENCE
Malcolm Cossey has 15 years experience in various facets of Supply Chain Management including customer service, planning, warehousing, distribution and purchasing. From major multi-nationals to SMEs, the experience covers multi site operations both within the UK and across Europe, as well as establishing links with Asian suppliers and manufacturers. Business Director level responsibility combined with an MBA ensures a comfortable balance between theory and practice.

CAREER

Held various Production and Supply Chain Management roles during a 9 year career within the PARAMINS division of Exxon Chemical Limited. Roles covered production management, demand supply chain planning, and various Supply Chain Projects. These included inventory management, worldwide distribution network modelling and introducing integrated demand supply and production scheduling tools.

Joined Hickson and Welch Limited (latterly C6 Solutions Limited) in 1997. Held various roles encompassing materials management, planning, warehousing, distribution, purchasing and customer service. Commercial and business experience as Business Director for the Fine Chemicals Business.

QUALIFICATIONS

Chartered member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport (CMILT - 2007)
MBA with Distinction – University of Bradford, 2002
Chartered Chemical Engineer
(BSc Hons – University of Bath 1989, Chartered Member of IChemE 1996)
