We specialise in development of quality management
systems for laboratories and similar technically based enterprises
where quality of measurement data is critical. We assist in establishment
of quality management systems to comply with all accreditation
protocols, ISO 9000, ISO 17025, ISO 15189, UKAS, A2LA, CLAS, Good
Laboratory Practice (GLP). Our areas of expertise are wide and
include analytical chemistry, pharmaceuticals, microbiology, product
testing, physical measurements and food analysis.
We have experience working with laboratories in
many countries and have assisted in the setting up of national
laboratory accreditation schemes for testing and calibration in
compliance with ISO 17011.

For laboratories seeking accreditation we offer a comprehensive range

* An initial survey of your current quality management arrangements and
a report on any modifications or enhancements needed to meet any chosen accreditation protocol.
* Preparation of all documentation
including Quality Manuals, methods documentation, standard operating procedures
(SOPs).
* Setting up of record keeping systems
including those for equipment calibration and maintenance monitoring, staff
training records, audit and review, customer feedback. Pro-formas are provided for easy establishment of easy
to operate record systems
* Staff training
in auditing and general quality management activities. Special training
courses in uncertainty estimation which
is of increasing importance.
* Assistance with implementation including
our free (to clients) fastline service which provides telephone/fax/E-mail
support for your queries right up until accreditation.

| Assisted the Caribbean Industrial Research Institute (CARIRI) to the first
UKAS (NAMAS) accreditation in the area. We advised the Trinidad and Tobago
Bureau of Standards (TTBS) in establishment of the national laboratory accreditation
scheme. |
Sri Lanka |
| Provision of consultancy which established the first ISO 17025 accredited
testing laboratories in the region covering food, fertilisers and pesticides
residue monitoring. |
Bangladesh |
| Provision of assistance to Bangladesh Standards Bureau in development
of quality systems for ISO 17025 compliance; training of laboratory staff
from 15 laboratories in the country on ISO 17025 requirements. |
